Z, little D, little C, and some friends went raspberry picking at Swallowtail Farm in Mason today. All 8 kids had fun picking/playing in the fields while myself and two of my friends picked about 14 pints of berries. It was a beautiful morning with a little dew to cover your shoes. Our feet were a tad wet which ended up cleaning my tennies very well. I was impressed by how my old shoes looked good again and now there are two benefits for berry picking. On the way home one of the kids started to complain her stomach hurt. I asked if she needed to throw up but she didn't reply. As soon as we got home there she blew! At least a pint of berries came out of this little girl but amazingly enough she didn't get any in my vehicle just all over herself. We got little C's friend all cleaned up and she was as good as new and now we have a good story to tell for the girls first time raspberry picking.
